01Who we are
Brand Wave Branding Studio (“Brand Wave”, “we”, “us”) is a branding studio and AI integration company based in Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through brandwave.ca and when you contact us. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
02What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical information needed to run the site securely:
- Contact form details: your name, email, phone number, business name, the services you’re interested in, budget, timeline and any project details you write.
- Campaign source: if you arrive from an ad, the campaign tags in the link (for example, which ad you clicked) are sent with your enquiry.
- Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to prevent spam and abuse, and our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
03Children under 13
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Every form on our site asks you to confirm you are 13 or older before anything is sent, and enquiries without that confirmation are rejected. If we learn we have received information from a child under 13, we delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has contacted us, email hello@brandwave.ca and we will remove it.
04How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes or proposals.
- To deliver and support projects you hire us for.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam.
- To understand which ads bring in enquiries.
We never sell or rent your personal information.
05Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Hostinger — website hosting and email delivery.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces on this site, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.
We may also disclose information if required by law. Some providers may store data outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws.
06WaveOS and AI services
When we build WaveOS or AI tools for a client, any customer data in those systems is handled under a separate written agreement with that client. That agreement, not this policy, governs how their data is processed.
07How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project records for as long as required for business and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
08Security
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), our contact form is rate-limited and filtered for spam, and access to enquiries is limited to our team. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
09Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Email hello@brandwave.ca and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
